Hello,

I am a researcher working for a better understanding of the mechanics of slender elastic structures such as rods, plates or shells. This includes many practical problems from the dynamics of large rotating machinery to the nonlinear vibration of electromechanical systems at the nano-scale, or more fundamental ones such as the relation between geometry and elasticity in thin structures, or the stability of periodic states in time or space.

My approach is to develop efficient numerical tools, often side by side with well controlled model experiments in order to reveal and rationalize the stationary states and stability maps of these structures in various mechanical and geometrical environments. My goal is then to communicate and implement these findings towards innovation in structural mechanics across scales and scientific communities.
